Latimer Place | Nick & Gemma
Congratulations to Nick and Gemma who were married yesterday at St John’s Church in Buckinghamshire. We’d been looking forward to photographing their day for some time as they secured their booking with us a long while back.
We started off the morning preparations at Gemma’s Dad’s house. Inside we found Gemma and her sister Hannah busily getting ready with Nicks mum, Grannie and of course Gemma’s Dad Edward. There was a lovely warm atmosphere, all was very calm which made for some lovely relaxed shots.
We then headed off to St John’s church a short drive away where we found Nick and his guys waiting and greeting guests. We had one eye on the skies but the threat of rain luckily didn’t materialise!
Seeing Gemma walk down the aisle was lovely, she looked absolutely beautiful and we loved her dress, so pretty! Nick was clearly overwhelmed to see her walk down the aisle and it was fantastic to witness all their smiles during the ceremony!
We headed onto Latimer Place, a wonderful venue in Chesham. The views are out of this world, the serenity and countryside were amazing, what a beautiful venue! Luckily the rain held off for a while, allowing us to capture some shots of Nick and Gemma together, although sadly it did decided to rain just as all their lovely guests came outside for the group shots of the whole party! Fortunately Latimer Place is as large as it is stunning inside, so we headed to the gorgeous staircase to capture approximately 75 guests. A little challenging but we managed it and it was worth everyone’s effort to squeeze in!
We thought the floral décor was beautiful at Nick and Gemma’s wedding, great colours – really eye catching!
The speeches were wonderful and we really enjoyed capturing the reactions from Matt’s speech!
There was a great atmosphere during the evening, fun shots of guests and watching Matt (Nick’s bestman) bust a move on the dancefloor was a moment we won’t forget for a while! Brilliant…
We hope Nick and Gemma have a fantastic break and honeymoon later this month!
Here’s a few images from their special day!
